Holy moly! I had one of these discontinued classics in the 90’s. Wille of Ghost Brigade needed to get his fixed and footswitch was the suspect from the beginning. Replacing that and resoldering some weak solder joints made it come back alive.
I had forgotten how good it actually sounds: even at high gain the sound stays nicely together and works perfect for those chunkka chunkka metal riffs!
Shredmaster was first introduced in 1990’s as a high-gain marshall-in-a-box with nice eq and mid-scoop control. Later on users such as Johnny Greenwood of Radiohead made the second hand prices rise and now these are quite expensive and rareish.
Going to build a true-bypass backup duplicate of this for Wille later..
