Time for some hot pumping action! This time a bi-comp pedal with two legendary circuit clones. Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer->Ross Comp.
Ross has two controls: Sustain & Volume. Internal trimpot can be used to adjust bias/squishiness. This is one of the most sought after compressors there is and it just plain works.
Squeezer has only one control: Volume. But holy smokes does it sound good! (Same kind of circuit was used by Mark Knopfler on Sultans of Swing solo…) It’s not a clean compressor, it also adds some grit to the sound and can boost volume quite a bit too. There is an internal trimpot on this one also to control how much it’s squashing.
Graphics inspired by a great metal album made in 2006…
